Premarin
Premarin tablets contain conjugated estrogens, a mixture of estrogen hormones. Estrogen is a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries. Estrogen is necessary for many processes in the body. Erectile Wellness Provides a Wide Range Of Premarin (Conjugated Estrogens) Online At the Best Price In the USA, UK, AUS, and NZ.
Premarin is used to treat menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and vaginal changes, and to prevent osteoporosis (bone loss) in menopausal women.
Premarin is also used to replace estrogen in women with ovarian failure or other conditions that cause a lack of natural estrogen in the body. Premarin is also used as part of breast cancer treatment in both women and men.
How should I use this medicine?
This medication is a female hormone. It is used by women to help reduce symptoms of menopause (such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness). These symptoms are caused by the body making less estrogen. If you are using this medication to treat symptoms only in and around the vagina, products applied directly inside the vagina should be considered before medications that are taken by mouth, absorbed through the skin, or injected.
Certain estrogen products may also be used by women after menopause to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). However, there are other medications (such as raloxifene, bisphosphonates including alendronate) that are also effective in preventing bone loss and may be safer. These medications should be considered for use before estrogen treatment.
Certain estrogen products may also be used by men and women to treat cancers (certain types of prostate cancer, breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body) and by women who are not able to produce enough estrogen (for example, due to hypogonadism, primary ovarian failure).
How Does Premarin Work?
Menopause occurs naturally in women, typically between the ages of 45 and 55. During menopause, your body produces less estrogen than it did beforehand. This can cause symptoms such as "hot flushes".
Some women also have problems with dryness of the vagina causing discomfort during or after sexual intercourse. Some women develop osteoporosis during or after menopause. This is a thinning of the bones making them weaker and more likely to break, especially the bones of the spine, hip, and wrist.
Conjugated estrogens are like the hormones produced by the ovaries before menopause. When given during or after menopause, they can help control the symptoms.
Estrogen is used to treat women who have had their uterus or "womb" removed. If you have not had your uterus or "womb" removed, you will need to take estrogen with a Progestogen.

Premarin is sometimes used as part of cancer treatment in women and men. Premarin should not be used to prevent heart disease or dementia, because this medication may actually increase your risk of developing these conditions.

Dosage:
Premarin is available in tablets, creams, and liquid for injection into veins or large muscles. Premarin tablets come in doses of 0.3 mg, 0.45 mg, 0.625 mg, 0.9 mg, and 1.25 mg tablets. How much Premarin you take and how often you take it depends on what it's being used to treat. Doctors typically prescribe Premarin injections when treating certain cancers, while symptoms of menopause are normally treated with tablets or cream.
When treating symptoms of menopause, your doctor may start you off with 0.3 mg of Premarin each day, then increase the dose to the lowest possible dose that controls your symptoms. Your doctor might tell you to take Premarin every day for 25 days and then stop taking it for the last 5 days in the 30-day cycle.
If you have a uterus, your doctor may also have you take progestin for 10 to 14 days during your cycle to help reduce the risk of certain cancers.
If your estrogen levels are low, your doctor may tell you to take Premarin for 21 days and then stop taking it for 7 days during a 28-day period.
